Volunteer with On Mission Network

Why volunteer with On Mission Network?

When disasters strike, compassionate people step forward – and by visiting this site, you're already showing that you're one of them. Volunteering is one of the most powerful ways to bring immediate relief and long-term recovery to those in crisis.

The initial response is critical – but recovery doesn’t end when the headlines fade. Rebuilding homes, restoring communities and renewing hope can take months or even years. Many families continue to live in damaged houses – or without homes at all – long after the storm has passed.

Whether you serve in the immediate aftermath or join the long journey of rebuilding, your presence offers more than just help. As Christian volunteers serve, it gives people hope and, directs them to the omnipotent God. Your willingness to show up reminds survivors that they are not alone – and that restoration is possible.

Current volunteer opportunities available

The On Mission Network is a nationwide collection of Christ-centered ministry partners who equip and send out volunteers to provide disaster relief and generational impact through sustainable locally-sourced development. Volunteers are a critical element of providing relief and support to communities facing overwhelming circumstances following a disaster.

We have a variety of opportunities that range from helping provide meals, clean water, chainsaw services, flood and fire recovery and more, for first responders, volunteers and the impacted community.

Volunteer in Jamaica

On Mission Network is currently on the ground alongside local churches and community leaders in Jamaica – building relationships, assessing long-term needs, feeding, re-roofing homes and more, following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
