Amidst the Hill Country, peace is being discovered

On Mission Network and partner organization, Texans on Mission, have trained chaplains who live in Kerrville, TX. This enabled an immediate response to families reeling from the loss of their loved ones and for those experiencing the horrors of uncertainty searching for theirs.

The immediate response of OMN was that of spiritual care.

Being present as a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on and someone to help process the flood of emotions. It really is the first step in recovery. We now have over 11 chaplains visiting with people across the Texas Hill Country.

Concurrent, OMN has flood recovery, chainsaw, electrical support, debris removal, shower/laundry and feeding units and teams in a few different cities and counties along the Guadalupe to meet the needs of the community and families as they start to rebuild their lives.

From mudding out homes to helping replace equipment for families like refrigerators and basic appliances for daily living, the needs stretch across the central portion of Texas from San Angelo to Menard. Central Texas is home to a vast majority of rivers and people.
This process will be long. Search and rescue is still underway. Debris litters the area. Homes are damaged, some are completely gone.
On Mission Network is committed to providing immediate, short and long-term recovery to every deployment as the Church impacts its community. As soon as areas are ready to receive volunteers, OMN will share opportunities to serve.

Begin praying about your involvement and capacity.
